Shining with your competition
We have heard the saying over and over again: “There’s no comparison between the sun and the moon; they both shine when it’s their time”. I believe this to be true when it comes to brands, especially in today’s climate where things are so readily available and consumers can compare right from their phones. It’s vital for a brand’s growth to show a sense of humility and the ability to collaborate for the greater good of the end result/product. This has been seen with brands like Apple and Nike as well as Doritos and Taco Bell (Links to an external site.) to name a few. Both brands collaborated filling a consumer need in the market while simultaneously creating more demand for their product. By focusing on the final product for the consumer, this level of collaboration not only brings to the forefront the ability to work together but consumers are more inclined to trust a brand because they feel as if the brand has them in mind at all times.
